Ingredients
1 1/2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon ground dried thyme
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
500g Tilapia fish fillets
Butter to fry
Method
Combine all spices to make the cajun seasoning.
Heat a pan, add 1 tablespoon of butter.
Add fish fillets (in batches) and sprinkle seasoning generously over the fillets, season with salt. Gently fry for about 3 – 4 minutes before turning. Repeat sprinkle on fish and fry for a further 3 – 4 minutes.
Serve immediately with a crispy green garden salad drizzled with a creamy dressing.
