Ingredients
4 small whole tilapia, gutted, scaled and cleaned
1 tblsp. black pepper
2 tblsp. paprika powder
4 tblsp. relish powder (chicken flavour)
1 tblsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. tumeric powder
1 fresh lemon squeezed
Salt to season
Vegetable oil to deep fry
If you prefer you cna use larger tilapia and cut them into pieces and marinate according to the recipe above.
Method
Place fish in a large bowl and season with salt. In a separate bowl mix the spices with lemon juice then marinate the fish, cover and place in refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight.
Dust the fish with flour and deep fry in hot oil for about 15 minutes.
Enjoy with sadza and relish.
